The project i financed by SLF, Partnerskap Alnarp and Äppelriket Österlen. It is a collaboration between different actors on the market and has been running since 2008. It is planned to be ended in the beginning of 2012.
During 2010 we will mainly work with development of different forecasting models for the different tortricid species.
There are approximately ten species of tortricids in Sweden, including Cydia pomonella. They are all able to cause damage on apples during the season. The inventory includes seven of these species and the selection was made based on earlier inventories from Denmark and Poland. The sex pheromone is identified for all species.
